Biography
My
name is Willie Pelotte and I’m 11 years old. I started racing
at a go-kart track in Sidney, Maine when I was three years old.
My love for the sport was so overwhelming that my
dad bought me a race kart in 2003. I raced at Thundering Valley
Raceway in St. Albans, Maine which is a 1/5 mile track. I got
started real late in the year, and with only nine races left in
the season I placed every race. I received three first place,
three second place, two third places, and one fourth place
trophies.
In 2004, I won points champion in my division. I
had eleven first place, two second place, and three third place.
At the year end banquet I received my points champion trophy as
well as a special gift for my perfect attendance to every race.
With the end of the season over at this track my dad brought me
to Sugar Hill Speedway in Weare, New Hampshire and placed third
there.
In 2005, I won the points championship in a
mini-race series, and took third place in regular racing at
Thundering Valley Raceway. I also raced when I could at Richmond
Raceway in Richmond, Maine, in Kingfield, and again at Sugar
Hill Speedway.
In 2006 I plan on racing at Richmond Raceway full
time this year. I also look forward to racing other tracks.
I love to watch Nascar on TV, and try to learn all
I can about the sport. I can name the drivers, their numbers,
most their sponsors and owners, the tracks, along with the track
lengths, how long it takes to get around the track, and even a
lot about the handling of the car, plus alot more.
I am an honor role student in school and an over
achiever. I’ve taken advanced classes in a few of my best
subjects. I love my family and respect other people, and am
always willing to help anyone.
